The Hague NL - painted steel sculpture never installed by the municipality of The Hague NL. The parts are stored at Schokindustrie Zwijndrecht. The 5 parts are the two curved segments. the joining angle and the bases, each 3 centimeters thick.

In
1988 Lucien den Arend was selected from three proposals by three sculptors to
execute his arch proposal for the intersection Binckhorstlaan/Mercuriusweg and
Neherkade in The Hague NL. The construction consisted of five parts - the two
12.5 meter radius arches the connecting angle and the two bases. The sculpture's
parts are now stored and waiting for an interested party who would like to
become the new owner and will install it in cooperation with the sculptor.
